Wishing for Paddidle

2025
Sticking two 120 volt floodlights into a vehicle’s headlight sockets isn’t likely to get you home in the dark. That would leave you wishing for at least one headlight that is functional (i.e. padiddle). Although he never mentions the concept by name, Jakob Dylan (Bob’s son) wrote a song using padiddle metaphorically.
The song One Headlight came to mind for me with your Padiddle photo. It was then and is now an ear worm, thank you very much!
BTW, nice photo!
Your welcome on the ear worm. Funny thing is, after reading your comment about it, the song became an ear worm for me too.
Thanks for the attached video. That song is an earworm but the phrases play very well with this series of photos. I hadn’t associated that song, the Wall Flowers or even that Zach was in them or he was musician. I may remember those factoids for awhile. Sometimes there is just to much to remember in popular music.
Those factoids may be slipping away faster than you realize as it’s Jacob not Zach Dylan that leads the Wallflowers. So before you forget entirely, fire up Youtube and listen to more of the Wallflowers. I’m really only familiar with their first few albums but it’s pretty much all good music.
