  1. I’m enjoying all these city scapes but, wow, there’s a lot going on in this image! That’s a lot of windows. And I always imagine, there’s a different story going on behind each one of them.

    1. Thanks Kathy! It’s probably pretty easy to pick out us more rural folks in big cities because I imagine no one used to the cityscapes bothers to look up very often, much less gawk and take photographs.

  2. Very nice Larry, I love it.
Living in a town of 4,000 people I don’t think I could cope with Chicago, and I have no desire ever to go back to San Francisco, my prior habitat.

    1. Thanks Alan. San Fran, Chicago, NYC, Paris, London, Budapest, Rio, Stockholm, Edinburgh, Shanghai, Beijing, Washington DC, etc, etc, I’ve visited and enjoyed photographing in all of them but wouldn’t want to live in any of them. Even Bozeman is too big for my taste anymore. We’re going to be enjoying Ajo, AZ, population 3,000 and at least a couple of hours from anything bigger for most of January.

So- after spending a few days in Chicago, with it’s high rises and crowds, how does the pace and density compare to similar sized (small for China) Chinese metro areas?

    1. Hah, no comparison at all really in terms of density. The Chinese are really good at packing folks into urban areas.
