Tower of Power
Beijing, China
2016
These towers are part of the remnants of an industrial complex in Beijing that has been re-purposed into the 798 Art District, a community of art galleries, studios, and artists’ residences. Whether or not these are actually exhaust stacks from a power plant I don’t know, but I chose to think of them that way as it makes this image title quite appropriate.
Kind of a Chinese version of your grain elevator photos! 🙂 Nice shot!
Thanks Kathy. I actually saw grain elevators while in China; unfortunately none where I was able to stop and photograph them.
