Yeah, the red garbage can kind of makes the composition I think. The trailer in good shape is perhaps a bit of a frill in a otherwise pretty basic living situation (unless of course someone is living in the trailer in the winter full time). Butte’s economy has been in a state of disarray ever since the mine closed years ago. In some ways it’s amazing the city has hung on as well as it has. (At least I’m not aware of any big employers taking up the slack left when the mine shut down.) But regardless, they still put on a hell of a St. Patrick’s Day parade every year.
