Split Sun
Bozeman, Montana
2015
Lately we’ve had a number of cloudy days where, just at sunset, the clouds break up to let a few rays of sun shine through for a few minutes before it turns dark and provide some rather spectacular lighting on the mountains.
Love when the weather does this! Had it happen for me on my drive from Livingston to Gardiner two weeks ago. Enough to make me pull over and pull out the camera & tripod.
I didn’t have any worthwhile comments or remarks about this, but I liked it enough to wish this blog had a “Like” feature a la Facebook.
I’ve never seen any FB buttons on your sites (but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any), and thought it just too odd that you didn’t have a FB presence. So, to my not-so-unexpected surprise, I found your FB and FB Page.
Kewl !
Thanks Jim. My blog isn’t as tied into social media as it ought to be. I guess I need to have a serious meeting with my webmaster, but I hate talking to myself. 🙂 I’m glad you discovered my Facebook page and the fact that the blog posts are also posted to Facebook. I wish though I could figure out why Facebook always crops the photo for the thumbnail preview instead of fitting the whole image at that size. Another talk I need to have with myself I guess.
was this taken from you new place?
Mike, that was in fact taken from the balcony at our new house. You might have noticed the distinct lack of snow compared to Kentucky these days. Some winter we’re seeing this year.
