This bucket from a copper mine digger is about 10 feet tall, making it look like a huge face eying me with it’s tongue sticking out.

Twinned Twins

I suppose it was just a coincidence that the two mountains comprising the Twin Peaks at the north end of the Tucson Mountains both happened to have near identical clouds directly above them. Looking farther afield (up in this case) I also note a star/planet lining up pretty close to directly above them as well. Speaking of fields, it’s scenes like this that make me wonder if Mark Rothko got some of the inspiration for his color field paintings directly from nature.

A rather pleasing piece of abstract sculpture created, no doubt, from various scrap material gathered from around the various pieces of huge old mining equipment that abound at the ASARCO Mineral Discovery Center where it was displayed.
