I was so intent on photographing the murals outside of Chloride, I forgot to look up much at all until I was finished so almost missed the interesting clouds that had been sailing along overhead.

My schedule at home since my surgery has been very fluid (i.e. often virtually non-existent), so I forgot until late in the day to post a POTD. My hope is to stay on my usual morning posting time, but when I don’t please  don’t misconstrue that as a relapse or something else bad. The boulder from yesterdays POT, assuming it was painted about the same time,  has certainly kept it’s bright blue color well.

Does an image on a rock have to be old to be considered a pictograph rather than graffiti? Or if it’s billed as an art project, does that remove it from the graffiti category? I don’t know but someone has been busy recently in the otherwise sleepy looking little town of Chloride.
