Having been a teenager sometime in the distant past, I participated in my share of culturally insensitively named Chinese fire drills. But I must say I never saw one of these Chinese fire trucks at those drills. These little vehicles have a compartment in back containing some basic fire-fighting equipment. Too cute and small to be of much use on a big fire, I can see their size and agility being a huge asset as first responders to fire calls in a crowded city like Nanjing.

It was in fact an overcast, rainy day with some fog when we visited this park. The ground fog around this small lake was however fake. A few minutes after I took this photo they shut it off and it all disappeared. Nicely done effect however.
