Driving the road down to Lee’s Ferry you pass by an interesting collection of rocks that have fallen off the nearby cliffs. Pass by is not the full story I guess, because it’s hard for people, especially photographers, to simply pass them by without stopping for a while to explore them.

POTD: Sky Cover

I was so intent on photographing the murals outside of Chloride, I forgot to look up much at all until I was finished so almost missed the interesting clouds that had been sailing along overhead.

My schedule at home since my surgery has been very fluid (i.e. often virtually non-existent), so I forgot until late in the day to post a POTD. My hope is to stay on my usual morning posting time, but when I don’t please  don’t misconstrue that as a relapse or something else bad. It’s just my scatter brain being a bit more scattered than usual.

POTD: Modern Pictographs #6

This collection of murals on rocks is titled “The Journey: Images from an Internal Search for Self.” Given that title, I might suspect the maze in this mural was somewhat symbolic of that inward search. If so it was (or is) perhaps a difficult journey given there seems to be no way in or out of the maze itself.
