Four steps of engagement have to happen to make a sale at an art festival. The customer first has to actually look in your booth while walking by. Then they have to see something that makes them stop for a better look. Then they have to turn and actually come into the booth. Finally they have to like something enough to part with some of their hard-earned cash. The furthest I got with the folks in this photo was with the tall woman who actually stepped into my booth for a bit of a look around.
