Picasso Rocks
Cedar Mesa, Utah
2024
I was browsing through some photos from a couple of years ago and came across this one that I had not paid much attention to before. I suppose it was the recent comment I made about pareidolia that caused me to immediately see a face in this image, one that Picasso could have related to.

Yes!
Indeed.
You might start a new album titled “Farcical Faces.” You have Man with a stogie, horse eating an apple, and now Picasso Hag. Interesting series.
It would make a good collection. I’ve published a number of faces over the years, sorting through and pulling up all the old ones would be a daunting task I think. The funny thing is that I often don’t see the faces in things until I get the photo back on the computer for processing, i.e., often a face not why I took the photo, consciously anyway. And just like Bare Tree #143 from a few days ago, I didn’t see a face at all until is was pointed out to me.
