Thanks Kathy. I actually went by that house a couple of times, hoping to catch a good composition that included the shadow and or the bird cage itself. I never did get a good image with both the cage and shadow as well as the chair though. But I think just the shadow perhaps adds more interest than if the cage itself were in the shot.
