  1. Yes, just watching the waves crash up against the cliffs when the wind was up (which seemed to be most of the time) was pretty exciting.

  2. It is not an understatement that the Irish call the western shore the Wild Atlantic coast. We took a sail out the Killary Fjord on the border of Mayo and Galway counties for a brief trip in the open sea. Bracing. Those headlands are no place to have an engine failure!
