Meeting of the Minds
Yellowstone National Park
Interesting, I would not have thought that. But again I knew what it was to begin with. I just printed it out at 16″x16″ and hung it up in the living room. I’ll be watching to see what difficulty it creates for people viewing an actual print.
FWIW, I was viewing the photo on a 15″ laptop screen inside and still had trouble deciphering it.
This image is more puzzling than I ever thought it would be. On a larger computer screen (who ever uses those anymore I guess) it is quite easy to see what’s going on. It was fun to see, but I was actually quite a ways away photographing with a telephoto and then the image was cropped considerably. So the impact–no pun intended–did not come across as intensely in real life as it does in the image as shown (and once figured out).
Took me a minute to figure this out, too – thought it was some kind of abstract because of the symmetry. Bet that was pretty amazing to see!
Thanks Kathy. It was not meant to be mysterious, just dramatic. I looked at it on my phone outside and couldn’t make it out. Inside it showed up well on my phone though. Of course I already knew what it was.
This is just….THANK YOU!!! 🙂
This is an amazing photo, Larry! At first I couldn’t figure out what I was looking at…it seemed to be 2 eyes facing me topped with something white. I had to enlarge it to see the bison head to head. If you were going for mystery, you succeeded! 🙂
This is just ….WOW!!!
