Pastoral Morning

From the ruggedly beautiful coasts of Scotland, we’ve moved to the bucolic Yorkshire Dales in England. This was the view from our window just after sunrise this morning. Beyond the gate, there are chickens roaming around, laying eggs for our breakfast. In the foggy field behind, a few cows grazed along with about a dozen pheasants.
The light in this image is lovely…feels idyllic, like a movie set! I’d like to be there when that light hit…
It did seem a little idyllically contrived–in a very good way!
