RIVERS
It seems I've spent a great deal of my life on and around rivers--from rafting and canoeing flat water and white water rivers to hiking and camping or just walking along their banks. I prefer wilderness rivers, but also find great enjoyment in urban rivers that can provide a peaceful experience even in the busiest of cities. My lover for rivers has made me an enthusiastic supporter of the American Rivers organization and their goal to "protect our rivers as valuable assets that are vital to our health, safety and quality of life."
